In this special Valentine's Day workshop, you will chose between 2 different projects: Conversation Heart Pillow or L&L Letter Clutch. Make one for someone you love, including yourself!

Prerequisite: Intro to Sewing I or comfortable threading a machine and winding a bobbin on your own.

Bring with you to the class:
- Sewing machine, if you’re not renting one of our domestics
- Empty bobbin, (size class 15 for our rentals)
- Fabric scissors and/or rotary cutter
- Paper scissors
- Fabric marker or fabric chalk
- Seam gauge
- Pins
- Seam ripper
- Thread snips
- Hand sewing needle

For the Conversation Heart Pillow:
- 3/4 yd main stable woven fabric, such as quilting cotton, for heart
- 3/4 yd cotton muslin for lining
- 1/8 yd or 1 fat quarter cotton or linen woven fabric for letters
- 2-3 sheets of Steam-a-Seam2 fusible webbing
- Coordinating all-purpose threads for both main fabric and letter fabric
- Package of polyester fiberfill to stuff the pillow

For the L&L Letter Clutch:
- 1/4 yd cotton or linen woven fabric for exterior
- 1/3 yd cotton woven fabric for lining
- 1/4 yd Decor Bond fusible interfacing for body and lining
- 1/3 yd light to mid-weight fusible interfacing for flap
- fabric pieces for "From" and "To" labels
- fabric scrap for postage stamp
- fabric scrap for flap stamp
- 18" all purpose zipper for main opening
- All-purpose thread (samples have cream-colored thread to mimic envelope seams)
- embroidery floss for labels and writing
- zipper foot
- (optional) all purpose zipper for back zipper pocket
