In this class, you will use a Lockstitch & Lustre pattern and a domestic serger to complete a knit A-line skirt with a waistband. We will talk about coverstitch hems vs. twin needle stitched hems. There are two main options for lengths.

Prerequisite: Must have sewn on a domestic serger before. If you haven’t, we have an Intro to Serger class to get you started!

- Fabric scissors
- Fabric marker or fabric chalk
- Pins
- Seam ripper
- Thread snips
- Bent-tip tweezers

For Shorter Version
- 1 3/4 yd of knit fabric (pre-wash before class)
- 1 ½ yd of 1” wide elastic
- Four cones of matching serger thread

For Longer Version
- 2 yd of knit fabric (pre-wash before class)
- 1 ½ yd of 1” wide elastic
- Four cones of matching serger thread
