If you are new to picking a garment pattern and you don’t know where to start, this class is for you! We will meet at Jo-Ann Fabrics to talk about how to pick a pattern from the pattern books, selecting the right size, fabric choices, notions and trims. The second class, we will meet at Lockstitch & Lustre to cut the tissue paper, do a test paper fit, and cut the fabric. You may choose to bring an approved indie pattern instead of one from Joann Fabrics. To continue to the stitching process of the garment, enroll in the Garment Central class.

Prerequisite: Intro to Sewing I or comfortable threading a machine and winding a bobbin on your own.

Length of class: 1 session of 2 Hrs; 1 session of 4 Hrs (6 hrs total)
