Garment Central is the place to be when you have questions with cutting, fitting, and stitching a garment with a pattern! Think of it as a help studio for garment pattern sewing. Maybe you haven’t learned all the different garment construction techniques out there, or you’re still shaky on how to alter the pattern for a custom fit. Our knowledgeable instructor can help you with whatever step you are on!

Prerequisite: Must have taken Intro to Garment Sewing or have sewn from a commercial pattern before and are familiar with some garment sewing terminology.

- Sewing machine, if you’re not renting ($5 for rental machine)
- Commercial pattern (make sure you have the correct size range)
- Pre-washed fabric
- Coordinating all-purpose thread
- Other notions and trims needed (check your pattern for details)
- Fabric scissors
- Fabric marker or fabric chalk
- Seam gauge
- Pins
- Seam ripper
- Thread snips
